Let’s set some realistic expectations first…

Before submitting a request - we recommend that you have at least the following amount of flexible points for a round-trip flight per-person.

***Important: The points must be flexible points meaning that they must be either American Express Membership Rewards points or Chase Ultimate Rewards points.

If economy flights you’ll need the following per person:

✔ 5000 to 30,000 points for most domestic flights

​✔ 10,000 to 60,000 points for round-trip flights to the Caribbean, Mexico, Central America, or Northern parts of South America.

​✔ 20,000 to 80,000 points for round-trip flights to Europe, South America, Asia or South Pacific Islands

​✔ 40,000 to 120,000 points for round-trip flights to Africa, Australia, New Zealand

​✔ 80,000 to 200,000 points for around-the-world in multiple cities

If business/first-class flights you’ll need the following per person:

✔ 50,000 points for domestic flights

​✔ 70,000 to 150,000 points for round-trip flights to Europe

​✔ 50,000 to 120,000 points for round-trip flights to Caribbean, Mexico, Central America, or Northern parts of South America

​✔ 100,000 to 250,000 points for round-trip flights to South America

​✔ 180,000 to 250,000 points for round-trip flights to Asia

​✔ 220,000 to 300,000 points for round-trip flights to Africa, Australia, New Zealand

Point ranges above represent typical best-case and worst-case scenarios, depending mostly on your specific trip circumstances (which we’ll be asking about in this questionnaire.)
